An
exhibition of the work, photographic equipment, laboratory and
library of José Ortiz Echagüe (1886 – 1980), the principal
representative of Spanish artistic photography in the first half
of the 20th century and one of the most outstanding figures on the
international scene. Photographs that come within the framework of
the themes and aesthetics of the Generation of 98; with photo
finishing using the direct carbon on Fresson paper procedure.
Permanent exhibition of the artist’s work.
Opening
times: During the academic year: Monday to Friday from 10 to 13.30
h and from 16.30 to 20 h.
Closed
on Saturdays and Sundays. Outside the academic year: By
appointment.
